It’s an Eurasian Sparrowhawk, - I’m in the UK where we just call the species Sparrowhawk . Chestnut Flanked is a different species and is an African bird.

A sparrow hawk has killed a blackbird and is standing on top of his prey. There is snow on the ground

Sparrowhawk gets a meal. 9 blackbirds have been feeding in our garden while snow has been on the ground. There are now only 8. This male sparrowhawk is not a great deal bigger than the blackbird, which he eventually flew off with. Holmfirth, West Yorks #ukbirding #yorksbirds
