Yeah, I definitely noticed the difference this year. I was able to get some cover so I could pop out to the toilets / refill my water bottle but lunch was sandwiches at the stall (I've learned from experience to pick food up before opening).

Not the excel as there were loads of vendors in the main concourse but it was a running issue at the Novotel in prior years

The event was good and plenty of space for it to grow. The Excel is fine but very impersonal and felt like every other generic convention centre. I didn't get to see the gaming rooms so I don't know how they were.
