Yeah it was, I could see enough of the message to work that out. I appreciate wanting to promote the KS but given the number of reposts of the launch post that have filled my timeline it feels a little spammy to have sent what I'm guessing were copy and paste DMs to that many people.

Love having a DM notification I now can't clear since I've not validated my ID. Especially frustrating that my settings are set so that new people can't message me but that doesn't stop people who have previously messaged me from sending a DM I can't open.

The lack of hope and the horrific outcome of nuclear war is what gave Threads its power. It's the entire *point* if the show, made at a time when atomic fire was a real threat.

Finding hope? That's a non-starter in the reality of the nuclear age. I'll watch Fallout for that kind of fantasy.

A cutting board, scalpel knife, pliers and a pile of styrene sheets

Back on my scratch build spaceship nonsense with a design of my own. Cutting is going to take me a while, after this one I might just pay for someone with a laser cutter to do it so I can skip to the build stage.

The second batch went out this weekend and will hopefully be with people soon. That just leaves a handful of singles and the multiple book parcels to sort, which should be done in the next week.

Then a break to refocus and reassess in light of life changes over the past 6 months.

I'm feeling very disconnected from gaming of late, especially the play side of things, so there's a good chance this will be the first zine quest where I don't back something. Theres some great games out there, I'm just not feeling excited about them the way I usually would.

Hell is trying to sort out the layout of a document created in word where people have merged sections from different documents with hidden section breaks and a mix of paper formats.

Are these actual modules that you did? My mind cannot comprehend that mix being real let alone an option though I do now feel like I have a much deeper understanding of your games looking at that.

My course was hyper focused on biochemistry and with the exception of an optional module on the history and philosophy of science I didn't get any choices until 4th year.

Though iirc we both went to the same stuck in tradition uni where the idea of mixed degrees was far too modern a concept.
