Signs it's been a long time since I did any layout: I spent 10 minutes trying to work out why I couldn't get text to wrap around an image the way I wanted before I remembered it had a large white background and was positioned on the layer above the text.

There's a show on the Nebula platform called The Stowaway that is essentially the traitors but everyone is a traitor (I don't think there's a team element though, I'm not a subscriber so only seen trailers).

Well that was a waste of a day, was meant to be going down to Bristol on the train for a family do but got stuck at Shrewsbury due to the storm and ended up turning back for home rather than take a multi hour train/rail replacement bus journey via Birmingham that wasn't guaranteed to exist. Yay.

Nah, driving will never be relaxing for me when I could be reading, writing or just catching up on something. Even podcasts aren't as enjoyable if my focus is on the road rather than what's being said.

I do not know how people put up with driving to work for years on end. It sucks. I've been lucky to be able to walk or get public transport and it's so much nicer and less stressful.

It's not the first time I've heard of it happening, when I played it most of the deck was in order but a couple were out of place which was frustrating to discover part way through a game.

Layout nerds: For an A5 perfect bound paperback what's your minimum/recommended to gutter size? I've only ever produced staple bound before so want to ensure I don't mess up the format switch.

We're slowly letting Halley (the calico) explore more of the house after adopting her a couple of weeks ago. Orion (black and white) is not impressed as he keeps getting confined to the back rather than being allowed to roam free.

Afraid not, I've never bought dice in bulk for resale purposes.
