Against a combative side yesterday we played three kids in the midfield and they all had a good game, the second half particularly they got to grips with the pace and physicality. There will be tougher tests but I was really impressed with Gray, Bergvall and Sarr

Yeah we had 86% possession after the first 15, they just built confidence and we struggled with the press more than we should have. It’s not been vintage but it hasn’t been terrible

Bergvall our best player overall - some great running and good touches. Kudus our most dangerous asset though.

Haven’t created nearly enough but scored a good goal. Need to get the ball to Kudus more and probably hook Johnson quick sharp because he has no idea what to do out there. Unsurprisingly the biggest miss is someone to progress the ball in the final third - just a big hole where the 10 should be

We’ve had 70% possession but fair to say we were sloppy for the last ten/fifteen. Don’t have much control atm

The running from him, Richi and Kudus. I was exhausted watching it. If we can just inject a bit more creativity we will be a proper nightmare

Just quietly - Kudus… holy heck. The ball is attracted to him, man’s a walking magnet.

I think it was closer to 80 when the tiredness pushed us so deep and lack of retention in their half really hurt us but I’m not denying their overall quality told in the end. That said, we’re 2 months in (again) to something and they are an established unit. I’m not disappointed with it

I am really impressed with how quickly we have shaped up against the, admittedly sub-condition, European champions.

For a squad clearly lacking depth we went more than toe to toe for 80 minutes. Disappointing? Of course but a lot to take home and clear strategy whoever the opponent,

He’s so young, barely an adult. Maybe Odobert or Bergvall come on instead? but they’re kids too. Feels like Frank is trying to build trust with players who maybe haven’t felt it before at Spurs (Spence and Richi) and a generation of kids he will work with. We’re a couple short but we did good.
