Iirc correctly the races idea was eventually abandoned, and also when it did exist offered no gameplay changes beyond your avatars appearance

The avatar customization is not limited to human stuff, theres horns and elf ears, but making it a kweebec or something is not possible.

However, the creator tools include a tool to change your model to any NPC in the game, but thats only in modding/creative context
