Rewilding projects don't have to be done on a large scale. Small spaces such as gardens can also be made wilder to benefit nature - and simple actions, like leaving some grass to grow long, can really boost biodiversity.

Bitterns are BOOMING! 💚
283 males were recorded booming in 2024 - a 20% rise on 2023 and the biggest jump since monitoring began.
Once extinct as breeding birds in the UK, they're making an incredible recovery.

Nearly missed posting for World Wildlife Day.
Some of the wildlife from my UK wanderings last year.
A purple crocus flower. Its petals are open and it has an orange centre surrounded by its spikey green leaves. It has a small hole in one petal.
