im currently learning Godot and to do so I just started hacking shit together. blindly worked out a game loop and learned so much about useful concepts in the process!! it might not be my dream game, but it was fun and memorable. you dont realize how much better you’re getting while messing around!!

went for a walk

Dialing in on a gameplay loop that I will have fun playing. I miss action packed platformers like Ratchet and Clank. Block out almost there. Not sure the art direction I want to take yet but the last few years spent on game art will pay off. #leveldesign #gamedev #blocktober

my best advice is to learn one concept at a time and creating a tiny tiny game, unfinished, for each, to hammer it in!!

Took a break in the middle of working towards today's goal to make a clean version of the logo for my "game studio" so that I could make a custom splash screen. I'm very proud of myself right now.
