I have just asked the Governor General to dissolve Parliament and call a federal election on April 28.

We need to build the strongest economy in the G7. We need to deal with President Trump’s tariffs. Canadians deserve a choice about who should lead that effort for our country.

Welcome to autocracy. The Republic we have known for the last 240 years is gone. This is going to keep getting worse. Much worse. The courts mean nothing, the law means nothing, Congress is irrelevant. He is a malignant psychopath.

We found a solution. Buy an air mattress to place on top, which made getting in and out of bed easier and safer.
Initially, I used a long strap to assist in lifting my surgery leg, but found the process to become manageable after a few days, utilizing the edge of the waterbed for support.

My husband @robertcooper-us.bsky.social and I were the FIRST gay couple to adopt children in the US, way back in 1985. We went on to adopt five wonderful kids β€” all adopted at birth.

They’ve grown so much! Here’s a pic from our wedding in 2000, and a recent one including their significant others. ❀️

This country has seen some bad moments in the 61 years, 5 months, 16 days I’ve been on this Earth. But it has never, ever before come close to the supertoxic level of stupidity, mendacity, narcissism, nihilism, and moral apathy that threaten to destroy it today.

Hundreds of FAA probationary workers fired by Trump administration, union says | CNN Politics The Trump administration has started firing hundreds of Federal Aviation Administration probationary employees who maintain critical air traffic control infrastructure, according to their union.

Less than a month since a crash that took 67 lives, Trump is firing hundreds of federal employees who inspect and maintain air traffic control communications, radio and computer systems.Β

This is extremely dangerous and could have deadly consequences.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

You can replace eggs with baking soda & vinegar. This works really well for pancakes (and even cakes, muffins, and quick breads).
