I’m hoping people are seeing what poor quality MPs/councillors they get after voting Reform and are now thinking twice. That’s my optimistic view!

The πŸ”ΈLib Dems also had a super set of wins up and down the country last night… including here in Torridge (Devon)

The Caerphilly result is what we need to see everywhere at the next election: people coordinating to vote tactically for parties which seek a fairer, kinder, greener country.
Pushing out both those who have betrayed our trust AND those who seek to exploit that betrayal.

A stonker of a night for us. Three huge wins, Reform nowhere near us and the Tories down to ten percent in Mel Stride’s own seat.

We are the only party taking Farage on and the only party beating him.

Imagine the Trump-inspired country Farage wants for Britain. No NHS, huge insurance bills, people denied care.

That’s Trump’s America. Don’t let it become Farage’s Britain.

Please don’t pick a fight with the Lib Dems- here in my ward it only served to let the Tory candidate walk straight down between us to take the seat. Yes we’re different but essentially will both be on the right side of history πŸ™πŸΌ

Letter from Ed Davey to Keir Starmer condemning Elon Musk for inciting violence and urging unity to defend democracy.

Letter from Ed Davey to Keir Starmer condemning Elon Musk for inciting violence and urging unity to defend democracy.

I've written to Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage, urging them to join me in condemning Elon Musk's dangerous remarks inciting violence yesterday.

As leaders, we must stand together and make clear Musk will face serious consequences for these actions.

If you are too scared to say this @labouruk.bsky.social then you’re not fit to govern

If you are too scared to act you are not fit to govern

If you fear the BBC & Sky etc will promote these thugs’ angle then you can get back some semblence of impartiality in the BBC but that means you have to ACT

β€˜We have to tell an alternative story’: Green leader Polanski chats to Nigel Farage’s constituents Visit to Clacton-on-Sea part of social media strategy that Zack Polanski feels can rebut Reform’s rhetoric

People are exhausted.

Our high streets, public spaces, whole communities left unloved.

Blaming migrants won’t fix this.

Tackling inequality will. Tax the super-rich. Fund public services.

Angela Rayner accidentally pays less tax than she should have, resigns, and the media gives her hell.

Nigel Farage deliberately pays less tax than he should have, and the media gives him a free pass.

That, right there, is the problem.

So (bear with me, O’level maths was a long time ago), if there are 224,000 asylum seekers in the UK and his plan is to deport 600,000 migrants…..
That can only mean some kind of β€˜cleansing’…..
Don’t be fooled by him or the media supporting his nonsense, flags or no flags!

@libdems.org.uk MPs & Lords. I was one of the excluded in 2020. I’m a Lib Dem councillor, just an ordinary person trying to work but prevented, for understandable operational reasons. I received no furlough and no UC. Please join your many LD colleagues in this APPG and show your support. Thank you.
