Netanyahu’s reprehensible proposal to occupy all of Gaza will only further devastate Gazans and endanger the hostages still held by Hamas.

The Prime Minister must urgently pick up the phone to President Trump and press him to make Netanyahu abandon this plan.

Brexit isn’t working, and the British people know it. They're fed up with the damage caused by the deal forced on us by Conservative party.

Keir Starmer must show some courage and set Britain on a clear path to a new customs union with the EU by 2030.

Videos of emaciated hostages are a horrifying reminder of the evil of Hamas and the plight of those still held captive after so long. No family should have to see their loved ones like that.

The UK must continue to press for the immediate, unconditional release of all hostages.

Southern Water have failed to invest in repairing leaks and now, at the same time as they’re increasing bills by hundreds of pounds, they have decided to reward their boss, with a £1.4million pay deal. Why is the board of Southern Water rewarding this failure?

Now the Hamas terrorists behind the October 7 atrocities are trying to erode support for recognition of a Palestinian state by falsely claiming it would be a victory for them.

Hamas do not represent the Palestinian people and have no future in Gaza with a two-state solution.

Along with @libdems.org.uk MP Colleagues I have written to the Secretary of State and Minister to raise continuing concerns about Southern Water and the massive pay increase given to the water company’s CEO.

Recently I joined @riveractionuk.bsky.social and the Test and Itchen Association to test the River Itchen at Bishopstoke. The results were disappointing - though not unexpected - with low biodiversity and high nitrate levels.

NEW: @eddavey.libdems.org.uk, all Lib Dem MPs and Lord Purvis have written to Keir Starmer to ask that he:
- immediately recognise a state of Palestine
- pressure Israel to fully reopen aid routes into Gaza
- push to secure the release of all remaining hostages.

A few constituents have contacted me about the decision to remove the CCTV Cameras in Eastleigh town centre. I’m in contact with the local police and council and hopeful that a solution can be found. Meanwhile I’m continuing to call for a new police station for Eastleigh.

I have joined with over 200 MPs urging the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary to recognise Palestine as a state now. The UK should be taking the lead on securing a two-state solution and a lasting peace.

The Prime Minister must act with immediate airdrops of much-needed aid into Gaza and get other countries to do the same.

It is simply inhumane that Gaza faces starvation due to Israel’s aid blockade. Words alone won’t save lives.

Mass starvation in Gaza and over 1,000 Palestinians killed while seeking aid since May. The government says the situation is intolerable yet they continue to tolerate it.

The UK needs to stop all arms exports to the Israeli Government - today.

David Lammy must realise that we’re past the point of threatening sanctions.

Every day the Government sits on its hands, more innocent civilians are being killed in Gaza while over a million are at risk of starvation.

Sanctions are needed now, including against Netanyahu.

Starvation is a horrific reality for children and families in Gaza. Aid at scale must be allowed in urgently.

This is a man-made disaster.

Enough is enough. The United Nations must be allowed to deliver aid of all types at scale to families in Gaza, wherever they are.

I raised the issues with Southern Water’s performance and Ofwat at PMQs in April so pleased the Government is finally taking some action.

This is welcome and long overdue. Lib Dem MPs have been calling for Ofwat to be abolished and replaced with a new independent regulator with teeth for some time.

Recess, not holiday! I will be raising it though may not get a response until after recess.

It’s simply not good enough and the Government needs to take urgent action to address it. I will be writing to the Secretary of State and urging swift action is taken to hold Southern Water to account.

The world is looking on in horror as Netanyahu's Government plots to lock Gaza's entire population into effectively a giant prison.

The Prime Minister should make it clear that the UK won't stand idly by, starting by sanctioning Netanyahu himself.
