Yes. That is my post. I stand corrected. However, I am sincere in wanting to understand more about Tom’s actual thoughts on actions concerned citizens can take. Tonight’s summary was actually the best one I’ve seen from him on my question.

I don’t believe that I’ve ever posted on BlueSky to one of Tom’s posts as this person alleges. I’d like to see the post, because I have not found it.

Point me to the most relevant post that addresses my questions…I don’t live here like many of folks. But, I am seriously search for the best way to respond. I’m concerned an out our country.

I guess, Tom, I’d like to understand when (and what) the appropriate steps are for general citizenry to take action. What should we do and when should we do it? Or, maybe you think we shouldn’t be worried?

Great story! There are literally millions of culverts across our US forests and landscapes. They are a great and hidden environmental impact. Remediation has significant biotic impact and improvement when done correctly!

It's the Guns. America is the only rich democracy that features the routine mass slaughter of its citizens with guns. Why does this happen? The data show a really clear picture: It's the guns. Yes, it's that simple.

Early reports of a school shooting this morning at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis (I was baptized at the church there). As always: it's the guns. The US is the only country in the world that politically tolerates and legally ensures the routine mass slaughter of its own citizens.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

We need to do this more…and encourage our students to do this as well. Organizing our thinking with multiple conceptual models is really key to understanding landscapes in new ways. We’re just too focused on parsing our work into 3-year grant chunks and producing LPU’s (least publishable units).
