The death toll this past #flu season took on kids continues to climb. In its latest flu update, #CDC reports on another 4 deaths, bringing the total to date to 250 β€” an extraordinary number. 89% of the kids for whom vaccination status was known weren't fully vaccinated.

#RSV rates in infants are falling. Hospitalizations are down 28 % and 43 % for infants less than 7 months in two different networks, as reported in this week's MMWR.

This is real world evidence that maternal immunization and MAbs are protecting this vulnerable populations - #MedSky.

Having done two of these in the last year it’s truly exhausting. Trying to do hours of paperwork, forms and emails on top of an already busy schedule. Hang in there. Your patient will appreciate the effort.

It’s been a tough few weeks. My 10yo daughter was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive cancer called interdigitating dendritic cell sarcoma (IDCS). I’m reaching out to identify clinicians/patients who have encountered pediatric IDCS or other (non-LCH) dendritic or histiocytic sarcomas cases.
