She's very cool and collected, but also cares a lot, and also has a Tragic Past, a mystery that she needs to solve, and there's still the political intrigue, etc etc. Hits a lot of the same notes for me, and I'm enjoying it so far ^_^ Also, so far she's very shippable with her right-hand lady

If you're itching for something in the vein of Apothecary Diaries, there's a C Drama on Netflix called "Unveil: Jadewind" that's about a princess lady investigator who is awesome and an astronomy guy who is big brain, but no fighty skills, and they're working together to solve murder mysteries
