That's what I thought it was, but wasn't positive it was kelp. The whole thing looks like an Impressionist painting.

Pen & ink drawing on yellow toned calligraphy paper of 3 least sandpipers around a sandcastle on a beach. 2 of the birds are pecking in the sand next to the castle, but a third one is looking over the top of the sandcastle.

Really well done. I spent some time looking at all the details; the shading, the expression on their face,the pose of the feet, etc. You've done such a good job on this!

What a great title! The gull's expression really does look as if they're saying that.

It's still a nice label, even if it's not fancy. There's an elegance about it.

Is the water level usually higher? Looks like the rocks on the right side of your pic might sometimes be underwater? I like all the lush greenery and how the trees nearly meet overhead.

That looks like a painting with the minimal background. Has an interesting mood.

The frame goes really well with the piece, which is a lovely landscape, even without the dragon. But the dragon gives it a magical air & just elevates the whole thing. It's a painting that works on several levels. Really well done & hope it gets a lot of attention at the show.

What a great portrait of that falcon. We can even see their expressions so clearly. Nicely done.

Interesting vistas there. All kinds of shapes, which would be fun to draw.

I thought that was a wave behind the bird! You framed it really well with all the elements, you have a knack for that. Be careful on the rock jetties, they're probably slippery.

I think it will, it's not as if you're adding glitter to them. lol

There's a great feeling of motion in this pic, the flow just carries the viewer along.

That adds a touch of zing, but in an understated way.

What a cute little sparrow. The glint in their eye is so lifelike and the sheen of their crown feathers appealing. It's a lovely piece, with a cozy mood, as if we are privy to the little bird's secrets.

Got some mini sketch pads at Five Below discount store & was surprised at the quality. They're a bit under 5 in. square & each has 48 pages of decent grade paper, suitable for pencil or pen. Thick covers & a band which goes around to keep the book closed. Each is only $1 a piece. Pleasant surprise!

My #Connections winning streak of 165 came to an end with today's puzzle. :( It was a good run.

The design on the cup goes very well with the dragon. Though they remind me of a cat trying to fit into a too small box.
