The part with Ava having her picture taken at the DMV had me doubled over laughing, that was hilarious. And Barb hiding her keys when the clerk asked if she was driving with an expired licence. It was a really good episode, I agree.

Outside a doctor's office on Monday, I was surprised to see many blooms & buds on the neglected rose bushes, not something I was expecting in Oct.but still a welcome sight. It's rained a lot since then, so they're probably soggy by now. #roses #flowers #fallflowers #nature

Today (it started hours ago in Australia) is World Wombat Day. These lovable beasts are facing formidable challenges--habitat destruction, cars, mange--leaving 2 of the 3 species endangered.

There are many rescues devoted to aiding wombats either coming out of the wild or going in. Check 'em out!

I like the expression on the dino's face, it's thoughtful & inquisitive. We can see more of the line work in this close up, too.

It's still quite stunning. I like the sweep of the topline, the way the tail curls and the birds on their neck. It's just a wonderful piece.

It is! She emphasizes different things in her life than many people do & looks at fame as something that enables her to fund the things she cares about. She had Taylor Swift level of fame & influence for decades, yet still had to fight racism in this country. She was humble, caring & vivacious.

The frame fits it perfectly! It's a peaceful piece of art, creating an almost meditative feeling while looking at it.
