PAROLE FOR TPS UPDATE CUBA, HAT NICARAGUA, AND VENEZUELA (CHNV) CONTINUES! UPDATE AS OF APRIL 16, 2025 On April 14, a federal judge temporarily blocked the Trump Administration's attempt to end the CHNV parole programs. This is a major victory for the immigrant community! While there may be more legal challenges, CHNV beneficiaries remain protected for now. WE'LL CONTINUE TO REPORT ANY UPDATES.

Good news for CHNV parolees. A federal judge temporarily blocked efforts to end the programs, protecting over 532,000 immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

RE-REGISTRATION PERIOD: January 17, 2025 - September 10, 2025 Make sure to renew your TPS within this period. WORK PERMITS AUTO-EXTENDED Your Employment Authorization Document (EAD) is automatically extended through April 2, 2026. Use the Federal Register Notice as proof of this extension.

2023 TPS for Venezuela continues until Oct. 2nd, 2026.
EADs are auto-extended through April 2, 2026

This protects over 350,000 Venezuelan TPS holders.

If you are a Venezuelan TPS holder, make sure to renew before September 10, 2025.

If you have one of the following forms, it will count as registration: 1 LPR or Green card 2 Parole paperwork 3 1-94 or I-94W Nonimmigrant or immigrant visa 5 Notice to Appear (NTA) 6 Employment Authorization Document (EAD) 7 Border Crossing Card If you have applied for a status or EAD and provided fingerprints to USCIS or DHS, you most likely do not need to register, but you should consult with an attorney.

WHO WOULD NEED TO REGISTER? You may need to register if: 1 You entered the U.S. without inspection or parole, 2 You've been in the U.S. 30 days or more, and 3 You don't have one of the documents in the registered section (previous slide). *Some Canadians who entered by land and didn't get an I-94 must also register if staying past 30 days.

→ Understand what it may mean if you have any criminal history or if you have worked without employment authorization.
→ Review the information you need to provide and speak to a lawyer if you can.
