We really need a strong primary campaign for someone with an actual vision, and Newsom will surely be starting with the largest war chest. I hope everyone on here is thinking about who they are going to volunteer for.

I see a fair bit of neolib posting in the discover feed, but I'm less concerned with bsky endorsing Newsom, and more concerned with Dems continuing to guess about "electability" or "mainstream appeal" rather than working nominate someone they like in the primary.

I am one of the people screaming in pain every time I see Newsome's face. I am not suggesting that I will stay home, I'm suggesting that as an organizer, I will have a much harder time convincing people to come vote if he's the candidate.

If we proved tomorrow that he was a cannibal, would that be the final straw that got his conspirators prosecuted? Or would we continue to see all these rapists in power with no blowback?

Why do we need to engage in conspiratorial thinking with minimal evidence if we're already failing to address crimes that have tons of evidence.
