Serious answer. I don't know anything about her family money or her spouse bc I don't care but I do know she wrote a book bc the headlines were stomach-churning. Book money can be big money.

Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.

I used to live in Louisville so this is the kind of content I want!

It boggles the mind that we have people who are facing more than one mass shooting event in their lifetime. Any other developed country in the world would have fixed this problem. Our greed and backwards values have corrupted us.

Can I just say it's a little grotesque when you refer to your living parents' money as your inheritance? They don't have to leave it to you. Also, maybe they want to spend it all!

The United States Government has no legal authority to snatch a person who is lawfully present in the United States off the street and remove him from the country without due process. The Government's contention otherwise, and its argument that the federal courts are powerless to intervene, are unconscionable.
