So is your cup cursed to only appear once a day, then disappear and leave you dry for 23 1/2 hours?

So is the reward, the cup of tea? Or drinking it later than an uncreative start to your day? Which is surely a punishment, so is the agony of waiting for tea, a joy? Is your sonnet writing an S&M tool? 'β—‘'

The Moon
and Sun
share light.
The Sun
makes it
the Moon
reflects it
and more often
than not
the Earth's
shadowΒ waxes
and wanes
on the lunar
plains.

The rent, council tax and wages for a little west London cafe must be eye-watering. The prices are not really surprising as things are now.

Guilty of what? Highlighting your limited thinking?

The article notes one woman, 'as young as 17', so legally old enough to drive, & have sex as, 2 million+ 16+ teenagers also are in the UK. And she might look much older. Being exploited must take a toll.
But here you are, scrabbling for some point to score; your pride is a mucky thing, my friend.

Oh dear, echoes of mock superiority...
I was very clear about the abhorrent abuse of the women involved, but it is also important that innocent people are not accused of being monsters, which they were, unintentionally, I'm sure. It doesn't seem difficult to understand. 'β—‘'

We can only assume that the 'customers' thought they were paying for, and received, transacted sexual services, and did not have to force themselves on the women, which means that they were not rapists, and should not be called rapists, which they were. You misrepresent me.

Hi Suella Braverman, when are you going to call a by-election now you’ve defected?

Your new leader Nigel Farage calls those that don’t β€œdishonourable members”.

I am not excusing the abhorrent treatment of the enslaved women, but it is not rape if the men involved believe that the women consented.
Do you know if the customers knew that the women were forced to provide sexual services?
If so, is that why you call them rapists?

Epitaph on a Tyrant
W. H. Auden
1907 – 1973

Perfection, of a kind, was what he was after,
And the poetry he invented was easy to understand;
He knew human folly like the back of his hand,
And was greatly interested in armies and fleets;
When he laughed, respectable senators burst with laughter,
And when he cried the little children died in the streets.

In so many places.
