I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

It will take aggressive policy responses, fundamental institutional reforms, a sh*tton of public $$, & a lot of people being prosecuted & jailed for their lawless authoritarian crimes. If it takes generations, it will be the failure of government & imagination & elite accountability. Again.

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

I'd been watching roughly 200 races heading into Election Day, so here's a thread of some of what you don't want to skip over!

Ask him why so many air traffic controllers are retiring at once. Ask him if it has anything to do with Reagan firing 11K union strikers in 1981 and having to replace them all at once. Ask him how the mass firings this year will impact us the same way 40 years from now. Ask him, Jake.

Prioritize trusted independent Wyoming news in your Google Search results - WyoFile
See more WyoFile stories in Top Stories and the “From your sources” carousel by following this quick method.
Did you know that search engines, and the algorithms that underpin their decisions, hold a lot of sway over who gets to see WyoFile's reporting? And the situation is being exacerbated by AI-driven search results.
Luckily, there's a new way that you can regain control over where you get your news.

I for one think the Epstein Ballroom will be magnificent. I love the decor theme of “what if Uday Hussein ran a Ramada Inn.” And giving it a theme song everyone will associate with it is a stroke of brilliance! “Thank Heaven for Little Girls” is very catchy.

Yep. I especially like the point about the police forces being out numbered. You can see it in their response both to the protests and also on social media - especially in larger cities.

At some point, a journalist needs to ask Johnson “you regularly claim you have no idea what your own government is doing. If we take you at your word, how are you so poorly informed, and do you this level of ignorance should disqualify you as speaker?”
