I've had this, caused by the strenuous activity of taking off my socks. After my index finger was fixed, I did the same on my middle finger.
I no longer slide one finger down the back of a sock to remove it - three fingers together seem to cope OK.

I think @swilua.bsky.social told her students to get AI to write an essay, but the REAL assignment was for them to show where the AI had gone wrong. Two reasons why this was excellent idea::
1) You learn you can't trust AI
2) You have to research the actual topic carefully to find the AI mistakes

Google's "AI Overview" in search keeps lying to me in subtly different ways when I ask about vaccines. It *helpfully* summarises the NHS summary I was looking for, but changes the meaning (making the AI summary factually WRONG.)

I will never trust the AI overview without checking the sources.

I know one of the big arguments against a Republic is "what if we ended up with a President .... (insert your bogeyperson here) instead."

But people forget that for some 32 years, we were just a single heartbeat away from Prince Andrew being the first in line to the throne.

In Cambodia, I saw blacksmiths who make shell casings into plough & machete blades. There are LOTS OF SHELL CASINGS all over Cambodia.
