The GM, Casey, has said that training for any role at SRSC is like “drinking from a fire hose” & I can confirm, that is exactly how I feel after 2 weeks. 🫠 So much info & new technology to learn (any Coda nerds out there?)! But I’m really enjoying it.

Ugh frustrating! I had one recently where the tracking showed it going all the way to the opposite end of the country after a week and then the next day appeared on my doorstep. Tracking had the right location at the end. So weird.

This is absolutely why I got into the master gardener program and have stayed for 10+ years. I wanted to learn and grow (lol) but going back to academia was out of reach for me with my chronic illness limitations. It’s paid off in huge ways for me, and has made me who I am now!

I’m so glad to see other people watching this show! I wish the eps were longer buttttt it’s a lot of fun so far yayyy

It’s so frustrating and weird! You’d think people would notice they don’t get updates and such emailed to them. Or realize why they haven’t gotten their pw reset link after spamming it 10 times.

I’ve gotten very personal correspondence as well and do my best to notify someone involved to stop it

I apparently can’t even get into the account to change the pw and cancel everything because they’ve enabled the 2fa with their phone number. This is RIDICULOUS

But at least I can’t really be blamed for having access to the account or anything ahhhhh

The person has now signed up for a 30 day free trial for Walmart+. They are not getting any of the confirmation emails, I am!! Why are they doing this?! What do I do??

I think I will send them a letter since I do have their address. Geez 🫠

And tonight they made a Walmart account and ordered something. I’ll probably wait until their item is delivered and then sign in and change the pw, delete their cc… what the heck. It’s so weird and jarring.

This is getting out of hand. I have at least one person who thinks my email address is theirs?? Like genuinely doesn’t understand they’re not typing theirs correctly?

Just recently they’ve tried to create a call of duty account (I signed in, change pw), Snapchat (I blocked the attempt)

I have been out of the loop and missed this, I’m interested!!

Small ways to care for community:

-Check on your neighbors
-Donate gently used/new clothing items to shelters
-Restock a community fridge
-Donate to a local food pantry
-Participate in a community clean-up
-Donate to mutual aid
-Volunteer at your local community center or library

Every act matters

It took me a longgg time to get past that feeling of being punished for (what I felt like) was just being friendly and interactive. Finding other kids who were silly and chattery helped a lot but I do still feel really aware of interrupting “important” discussions and such!

In my jr high science class, loved the teacher (he reminded us of Bill Nye). Another student was struggling so teacher thought “Meg can help that student study”. That kid brought out my old chatterbox tendencies & we created pure chaos, the teacher wasn’t even mad lol

In 1st grade I got in trouble for being a “chatterbox”. Was put at a desk in the corner and the teacher made a tick mark on my desk if I made any noise.

Guess who rarely ever spoke up in class again until I was nearly in high school???? 😤

I have an *old* kindle I’ve been using for 15 years, just never saw a reason to replace it

I started downloading my books the other day and there are a select few I can’t because they’re not compatible with my kindle. Yayyyy 😑

Lesson learned - next time I’ll make a sign that says “FREE HATS” because I don’t want people to think I’m trying to sell these!! In the meantime if anyone wants one, I’ll send it to you 😅
