I witnessed a car hitting a guy on an e-bike today… it was at Fairview and Curtis just before 5pm. It was a crazy situation where I think the guy was distracted by yet another e-biker who had fallen over in the road. The paramedics arrived quickly since the hospital is so close… I hope he’s ok 😭

In order to do my work as part of the seed co-op, I have definitely needed to prioritize rest/sleep. My routines & habits have gone through a huge overhaul in the past 4 months and I know that will continue. I see my role of preserving seeds as important for the world… and that takes focus & energy!

When I’m all cozy and ready to fall asleep, I imagine myself walking through a place I’m familiar with. I notice as many details as I can and, most importantly, I don’t interact with anyone. That is what keeps me awake!! No talking, no noise! Haha just quiet exploring alone and then boom! 😴

As I’ve been trying to get to sleep earlier for my job (!!) this solution has proven itself. It actually takes advantage of the imagination thing!!

I have finally, FINALLY, discovered my nearly infallible method for falling asleep. This is something I have struggled with since I was literally a child. I would wander the house after midnight and wake my mom up at 3am... The issue is my imagination, it’s so vivid it will keep me wide awake

My email name doppelgängers continue ordering from Walmart and now, setting up a whole internet service account complete with upcoming installation appointments. I’m really lost on what to do about this latest thing. How can they have internet service without access to an email address?? Wild.

The GM, Casey, has said that training for any role at SRSC is like “drinking from a fire hose” & I can confirm, that is exactly how I feel after 2 weeks. 🫠 So much info & new technology to learn (any Coda nerds out there?)! But I’m really enjoying it.

Ugh frustrating! I had one recently where the tracking showed it going all the way to the opposite end of the country after a week and then the next day appeared on my doorstep. Tracking had the right location at the end. So weird.

This is absolutely why I got into the master gardener program and have stayed for 10+ years. I wanted to learn and grow (lol) but going back to academia was out of reach for me with my chronic illness limitations. It’s paid off in huge ways for me, and has made me who I am now!

I’m so glad to see other people watching this show! I wish the eps were longer buttttt it’s a lot of fun so far yayyy

It’s so frustrating and weird! You’d think people would notice they don’t get updates and such emailed to them. Or realize why they haven’t gotten their pw reset link after spamming it 10 times.

I’ve gotten very personal correspondence as well and do my best to notify someone involved to stop it

I apparently can’t even get into the account to change the pw and cancel everything because they’ve enabled the 2fa with their phone number. This is RIDICULOUS

But at least I can’t really be blamed for having access to the account or anything ahhhhh

The person has now signed up for a 30 day free trial for Walmart+. They are not getting any of the confirmation emails, I am!! Why are they doing this?! What do I do??

I think I will send them a letter since I do have their address. Geez 🫠
