Amazon Saved Billions Under Trump’s New Tax Law Breaks for investment and research lowered the company’s payments to the U.S. government.

The tax law passed by Congress last year let Amazon pay just $2.8B in federal income taxes—down from more than $7B in each of the prior two years.

All while its profits jumped 44.5% to $89.5B.

This is the same company that announced 16k layoffs last month.

POTUS owes the American people an apology for sharing racist content online. The White House is supposed to unite this country, not sow division and hate. The post may be deleted, but the damage is done—this is unacceptable.

Elected officials and those in power must hold this behavior accountable.

Pretti was disarmed and not a threat to local law enforcement at the time of the shooting by federal immigration officers.

ICE killed him anyway, and Stephen Miller branded him a “would-be assassin” for possessing a firearm and exercising his right to protest.

By every definition, Alex Pretti is a damn good American who should still be here today. Pretti was an ICU nurse for the VA, exercising his 1st and 2nd amendment rights at a protest when ICE pinned him down and shot him to death.

He continued his lifelong commitment to public service as a Mountain Home city councilmember and Idaho Human Rights commissioner.

Together with his wife, Mildred—a 30-year federal employee—they were true pillars of Mountain Home and truly extraordinary Idahoans. Our community has lost a giant.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Joe B. McNeal. A decorated U.S. Air Force non-commissioned officer who served our nation for 26 years, Joe also made history as Mountain Home’s first Black mayor.

The Wall Street Journal calling out DHS’ dishonest statements. This is the good, truthful reporting that our nation depends on.

Bovino and Noem must resign. Their tenure in Homeland Security is stained with the blood of too many lawful citizens.

I am thinking of Alex’s family and friends today. We must do better.

Today, another fatal shooting claimed the life of Alex J. Pretti, a registered nurse, AFGE Local 3669 member, and American citizen exercising his 1st and 2nd Amendment rights.

Untrained, unprofessional ICE agents are killing American citizens.

Last week, I stopped in to Bonners Books to buy something that's been on my reading list for a while. I was lucky enough to catch the owner that day, who told me about how he had left Bonners Ferry for 40 years and eventually came back to run this community staple. #Idaho
