Paisley Park lit up purple with snow around
billcorbett Minnesota is still under attack by ICE Gestapo, and it's been awful - especially for people who aren't white. This evening I passed by Paisley Park - which is just a few minutes from our house - and decided to check in with my neighbor, the Ghost of Prince. "Hi Ghost of Prince," I said. "Are you doing ok, what with being a liberated spirit of the cosmos now?" Sly smile from G of P. "It's a lot of fun 2 b free." "Things are bad here right now." "I know. I have a bigger view than U now." "That's great," says I. "How much longer will this shit last, can you see that?" "Yes. Won't last much longer but there's still some rough road, babies. Hang in, go crazy. But in the right way!" “..Ok?"
Ghost of Prince continued, seductively: "And tell all those beautiful people down there that I'm looking over U, watching out 4 U, making sweet sexy love 2 U all.." "That might be a bit much, sir... "Fine." ...And I was suddenly teleported outside of the chain link fence surrounding Paisley Park, standing in the snow. Ghost of Prince was gone. But I felt a lot better. Love to everyone going through this.
Memorials to Prince hung on the fence outside Paisley Park. For nearly 10 years, people have always been adding new tributes, pictures, writing etc.
