Updated solar on our teardrop. Looking forward to a short shakedown trip to New York before a couple of longer summer adventures.

It's hard to understand why anyone would watch Trump address to Congress tonight. Even AI knows what to expect.

You can't look at it as having any financial impact. What it does is show solidarity. It will let them know that there are many people who don't agree with the countries current direction. Lack of participation will only add fuel to their madness.

It true that they didn’t actually have to give Trump anything, but it's a slippery slope. His followers also see it as a victory and it feeds the ignorance making it harder to deny him in the future.

I had hoped that with the upside-down flag it would be taken as "We the People" are in distress under the current administration. In hindsight, it looks like it may not be seen that way.

The political landscape has changed dramatically since we met last summer. I was lost and baffled then. That hasn't changed, but it's the new feeling of defeat that I can't shake. It's not a bad sentiment in that my biggest fear is becoming complacent. Balance that with daily life is the challenge.

A great stop at Melvin Brewing in Alpine, WY. Booked a stay as a Harvest Host, but stayed a few days on the BLM land in front of the brewery. Find our little teardrop from this out the front door picture.

We spent over a week at this primitive campsite above Twin Lakes Colorado. It is among the best we've visited. The bear encounter only made it more memorable.
