If your protests involve collecting folks personal info, or your organization videos/takes photos of protestors w/o consent or blurring faces in posts…it has a hole in its safety precautions, especially considering what the govt is doing to illegalize protests and increase surveillance 🧵

• Started If We Were A Movie by Zakiya N. Jamal. I think I’m enjoying it, I like YA but sometimes it takes me longer to get into it.

Israel used drones to drop chemicals onto the Flotilla, jammed their radio signals, rammed and intercepted their boat. What Israel is doing is illegal. They have kidnapped civilians from international waters and are holding them hostage and the western media is refusing to cover this. 🧵

has been intercepted and the activists have been illegally kidnapped by Israeli Forces. Those 12 people are volunteers, diplomats, activists who were trying to bring food and other aid to people who are being starved to death. And we have lost contact with them. 🧵

• Just finished “Somadina” by Akwaeke Emezi—holy fuck (as per usual)
• Started “Dead Cat Tail Assassins” by P. Djèlí Clark. It’s so fun and unique. I’m 25% in but I’m loving it.

took me over an hour and a half to comb all of her hair out of the rug and vacuum then she just plops right down

so like when firefighters get to a fire I know that their first priority is to make sure no one’s inside and save anybody stuck inside but do they look for pets too or will they just say na and go back to putting out the fire (I know nothing about this profession)

especially when you’ve been hyped for months on end and pre ordered a special edition 🙂

This has happened to me like 3 times in the last year I need to stop anticipating 😭😫

I hit play on Somadina by Akwaeke Emezi when I started cleaning earlier and somehow I’m 55% in and I’m enthralled
