A nice night of playing new board games

Not that I'm interested in the Tennis but if I was going to watch it, I'd probably watch it like this. #Wimbledon

When you've booked the only seat in a row at the cinema and two people not only decide to book right next to you but also sit in your seat as well.

What's worse is the row in front with an arguably better view was completely empty.

So I moved there

Felt so awkward watching the first I had to turn it off but the second was a lot of fun. (May have watched the 2nd one first)

Now that would have been cool

Not the only I saw this past weekend either

I mean the doctor certainly has some interesting companions over the years.

Played a whole bunch of awesome games this past weekend

Back from an epic weekend at the UK Games Expo.

When you haven't even been to UKGE 2025 and you already have your hotel booked for 2026.

When you are spending most of the day just waiting for things to happen and then the universe rewards you with the most awesome news.

Have you ever put off seeing a show because it has so much hype and your not sure if it can ever live up to it.

But then you see Hadestown and it blows you away. There are moments you could hear a pin drop.

Plus a whole lot of fun. If you get the chance I'd highly recommend seeing it.

Was fun playing Takenoko and Courtesans this week.

Two very fun games played with such good friends.

Broke out Canvas tonight. It's been a while but was good fun as always.

Continuing on with a recent trend of playing games I haven't played in years.

Hardback. A deck builder where you make words to score points.

It's a neat game but at 5 players it did drag a big towards the end.

Today we took on a beholder and didn't die.

OK, 3 of our companions got disintegrated and a 4th turned to Stone. But other than that, a successful mission.

Ended the day by catching up on the latest episode of Doctor Who.

Love the more experimental episodes and I thought it was much stronger than last week's.

Not that I'm saying it's perfect but it was fun. Can't wait to see what happens next week.

Fair but I do love the simplicity of the cubes.

Mostly, I just love how easy to teach it is regardless of the theme.

It's just a good time. Got my copy super cheap as well which is always a nice bonus.

The Golem Edition does look pretty cool.

Was good to get out to play some games today. Smashed it out the park once again playing Century Spice Road.

Picked up Blue Prince. So far I've ended both day 1 and two by dead ending myself.

But progress has been made and while I'm not sure what all these discoveries mean yet.

I am excited to see what day 3 brings.

Was pretty fun exploring Amsterdam. Did a lot of walking and saw lots of cool things.

A Good time was had in the Netherlands. Went on many canals and saw a lot of tulips.

Plus, I saw more cyclists in one day than I have in a lifetime. Then I saw a ton more. #amsterdam
