Released this day, 1968: 𝙈𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙄𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙠𝙮 (Columbia CS 9628). Recorded at four sessions on January 16 and May 15, 16 & 17, 1968 at Columbia Studio B, NYC. The album was produced by Teo Macero and engineered by Frank Laico.

The only time I’ve seen Bitchin Bajas was when they opened for Stereolab in 2019. The gig left me so pumped that I spent the next day writing a little homage to both bands called “Labwerk”

So yeah, I’m pretty stoked for this date.
