How can people say they’re bored by The Pitt when I cry in the same episode someone blows hot dog chunks

I genuinely forgot how much fun it is to watch my shows as soon as they air and then go directly to tumblr. I love it here.

By the second half of the ep I had almost forgotten about losing my appetite so of course that’s when they brought me Rocky the competitive hot dog eating champ to ruin my appetite a second time.

I think this episode of The Pitt might be my favourite of the series so far. My boy Louie, though… 😭

Her community rallied so fast and so diligently. This is a victory to uphold and celebrate. Reminds everyone that it's worth fighting back.

No sharing allowed in these parts.

People who park on the street but don’t need to are doing it on purpose so no one else will park on the street in front of their home. This reddit exchange made me laugh but that is more or less how their logic works. 😔

Its biggest flaw is that because I'm short-waisted and long-limbed it’s really hard to get my hands into the pockets (pocket openings way too high). Man, I didn’t even know that could happen. Lesson learned.

For #SewAndTell this week, the only bold thing l've ever made: a printed playsuit (mods: mule ear pockets, more buttons, no bust dart) that I thought would be good for bicycling. Nope! Even worse, two years later it doesn't fit any more! Oh, well. Still happy with the buttons. #garmentsewing

The inconsistency of the sidewalk conditions is reeeeally getting to me. Plus I almost got smoked by a left-turning and then a right-turning driver in quick succession today but that’s unrelated to the ice, it’s just an additional frustration that brought me closer to my breaking point this evening.

The policy of 1) single rail networks and 2) freight getting right of way is why Canada continues to have ineffective and unused passenger rail.

I don’t think I ever rated this rack because I haven’t used it in years and there are better places to lock up but if I HAD rated it it would have gotten a 2/10, even though it is the rare example of a triangle rack being oriented so parked bikes will be parallel to the building’s exterior.

Forgot to post this photo I took months ago. An unfortunate fate befell the triangle rack at the Shoppers Drug Mart near Eaux Claires transit centre. I’ve never seen this before. Good thing the shopping plaza has much nicer racks elsewhere. #yegbike
