How can people say theyโre bored by The Pitt when I cry in the same episode someone blows hot dog chunks
13.02.2026 04:58 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I genuinely forgot how much fun it is to watch my shows as soon as they air and then go directly to tumblr. I love it here.
13.02.2026 04:56 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0By the second half of the ep I had almost forgotten about losing my appetite so of course thatโs when they brought me Rocky the competitive hot dog eating champ to ruin my appetite a second time.
13.02.2026 04:32 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I think this episode of The Pitt might be my favourite of the series so far. My boy Louie, thoughโฆ ๐ญ
13.02.2026 04:26 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Her community rallied so fast and so diligently. This is a victory to uphold and celebrate. Reminds everyone that it's worth fighting back.
10.02.2026 01:30 โ ๐ 5719 ๐ 1620 ๐ฌ 12 ๐ 0havetheconch โข 1 hr. ago People must love stockpiling junk in their garages. I can only assume that's why everyone insists on parking on the street. ๐คทโโ๏ธ Financial_Spell7452 โข 1 hr. ago Strangely, this is something else l've noticed. Suburb roads packed with cars, but the driveways are all empty. I don't know if that's an Edmonton thing though, could be like that everywhere. havetheconch โข 1 hr. ago It seems to be an Edmonton thing. Definitely not a Winnipeg thing or Vancouver thing. Meowmeowsuplex โข 1 hr. ago Well if you park in your driveway, then a stranger could park on the street, which means you couldn't park in the street even though you wouldn't need to. No sharing allowed in these parts.
People who park on the street but donโt need to are doing it on purpose so no one else will park on the street in front of their home. This reddit exchange made me laugh but that is more or less how their logic works. ๐

08.02.2026 00:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0No but for real, is millennial pink going to come back? Is nature healing? Iโm afraid I suffer from a terrible case of millennial supremacy, so itโs my unchangeable opinion that the unisex pink craze of the 2010s is superior to this decadeโs hyper-gendered โpink is for girlsโ stuff. (sorry, Barbie)
07.02.2026 18:59 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Welcome back, millennial pink!
07.02.2026 18:43 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Whoa, the Canada Post building was originally a Co-op location?! So the little Co-op gas station beside it is vestigialโฆ ๐ฎ
07.02.2026 17:26 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Its biggest flaw is that because I'm short-waisted and long-limbed itโs really hard to get my hands into the pockets (pocket openings way too high). Man, I didnโt even know that could happen. Lesson learned.
07.02.2026 05:02 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Faceless mirror selfie of me wearing a home-sewn sleeveless playsuit/romper in a brown fabric with flowers and leaves printed on it. The pattern used was Butterick 6939.
Close up of the mule ear pocket on the playsuitโs left hip. The pocket flap (the โearโ) is held closed by a button near the waistband. There is a second button a couple of inches lower and toward the centre front of the garment that will hold the pocket flap open.
The pocket flap buttoned to the second lower button.
For #SewAndTell this week, the only bold thing l've ever made: a printed playsuit (mods: mule ear pockets, more buttons, no bust dart) that I thought would be good for bicycling. Nope! Even worse, two years later it doesn't fit any more! Oh, well. Still happy with the buttons. #garmentsewing
07.02.2026 05:02 โ ๐ 19 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0The inconsistency of the sidewalk conditions is reeeeally getting to me. Plus I almost got smoked by a left-turning and then a right-turning driver in quick succession today but thatโs unrelated to the ice, itโs just an additional frustration that brought me closer to my breaking point this evening.
04.02.2026 04:56 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0They become wealthier and more famous, you become a frequent flyer at your nearest ER. Or like, maybe you die. Either way, they donโt care about you, they care about the money and celebrity that your purchases and attention can bring them. Evil world.
04.02.2026 04:21 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0There are billionaires using their wealth to become even richer by marketing and selling literal poop to people? Omg the revolution cannot come soon enough

29.01.2026 00:21 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The policy of 1) single rail networks and 2) freight getting right of way is why Canada continues to have ineffective and unused passenger rail.
28.01.2026 00:50 โ ๐ 15 ๐ 7 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1I donโt think I ever rated this rack because I havenโt used it in years and there are better places to lock up but if I HAD rated it it would have gotten a 2/10, even though it is the rare example of a triangle rack being oriented so parked bikes will be parallel to the buildingโs exterior.
28.01.2026 02:57 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A bike rack that has been somewhat squished by some great force
Forgot to post this photo I took months ago. An unfortunate fate befell the triangle rack at the Shoppers Drug Mart near Eaux Claires transit centre. Iโve never seen this before. Good thing the shopping plaza has much nicer racks elsewhere. #yegbike
28.01.2026 02:50 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0screenshot of text from Adam Serwer in The Atlantic: "The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they're the ones who are alone. In Minnesota, all of the ideological cornerstones of MAGA have been proved false at once. Minnesotans, not the armed thugs of ICE and the Border Patrol, are brave. Minnesotans have shown that their community is socially cohesive - because of its diversity and not in spite of it. Minnesotans have found and loved one another in a world atomized by social media, where empty men have tried to fill their lonely soul with lies about their own inherent superiority. Minnesotans have preserved everything worthwhile about "Western civilization," while armed brutes try to tear it down by force."
