I was told the the stretch from 23 Av - AHD is being maintained by a subcontractor for Ledcor, not the city, so hopefully may be cleared faster.

Really hoping these end up being better than pretend Local Street Bikeways or unsafe wide sidewalks.

Skipping engagement would be fine if they were building safe infrastructure, but the track record on this project so far is poor. They've probably already killed one person by knowingly building unsafe infrastructure and they don't seem to care.

I feel like one of the best parts of winter biking is watching all the cars skid, slide, and struggle to get going, all while having no issues on my bike whatsoever.

Hopefully the other designs are less car-centric, but this is overall a great step forward.
