I’m really only just getting into it but I genuinely love birding as a hobby. The entire goal is to look at the bird. Is there a bird? There is a bird! Look at the bird! If you are very keen you can learn what to call the bird so that you can properly thank it for the joy you feel when you see it. 🪶

I'm trying to talk more publicly about how much actual sports women (women who play sports) especially those involved in enthusiastically inclusive sports teams, are being spoken over by TERFs who haven't trained a day in their life and are convinced that physical infirmity is a personality trait.

Just after we put out a call to testify @ the state budget hearings on Tues afternoon + evening, the “bathroom ban” bill was scheduled for an overlapping hearing. Reminder: budget hearings will restart @ 6 PM, so you could testify at HB 148’s hearing, then grab a bite, + testify @ the budget hearing

I survived my first roller derby game!!! My legs are so sore but I kicked all kinds of ass as a jammer tonight and I’m very happy about it.

Time to rest and recover so I can do another one next month!

I dream of BLTs

me (right in a red white and blue dress and talll heels that make me look giant) with my sibling (middle in a patterned red white and black hoodie with jeans) and their WONDERFUL partner (left in a rather suave black sweater over black trouser combination) together at my aunties house for dinner before a screening of their marvelous new film "Outerlands" at the Brattle theater. I really can't recommend it highly enough to those who can find a showing in their area. It's intense but intense in a very different way than "I saw the TV glow"

Went to see "Outerlands" tonight and found myself really taken with it. Addressing identity and vulnerability and trauma directly and earnestly without succumbing to the despair or horror that sometimes accompanies stories of trans life experience... and i might be a little biased but the cast is🔥

If you are involved in women's sports, and you're disturbed by the increasing trans bands, the most useful thing you can do about it is complain to your federation, tell them you're unhappy about it, and make it clear publicly that you want to be and to choose to play with trans women.

In Manchester, an urgent call to address NH's rising youth homelessness: ‘See our faces.’ Annually, an estimated 15,000 people between 12 and 25 are homeless in New Hampshire.

In its most recent count, the NH Coalition to End Homelessness saw almost a 41% increase among homeless children under 18 between 2022 to 2023, from 315 to 443.
