I think this is why my cohort (Gen X) has been kind of backfooted for the last 8 years. We had that, the whole time we were growing up and forming views etc., right up until we didn’t. My best friend from middle school after the election in 2016: “this happened on our watch bc we didn’t watch.”

As a blue collar 51 yr old gen Xer who only stopped living paycheck to paycheck at age 45, I am absolutely disgusted that your life & everything you worked for is being threatened. Anyone finger wagging or saying you don't have the right to be angry is full of shit. We are all in danger!
