Seeing Teddy get some game time tonight, I'll just post this beauty and say that he's still one of my favorite Vikings' QBs. Never had elite talent, but the man has a ton of heart.

Matthew Stafford is currently in the process of cementing his place in Canton. He's been absolutely electric this season.

One of the all time great Minnesota Twins, Rod Carew won 7 batting titles - yes, you read that right - during his 12 seasons with the Twins. He spent his final 7 seasons with the Angels and was an All Star in every season of his career except for his final season in 1985. An easy 1st ballot HOFer.

This one can be gotten in lower mid-grade (ungraded) condition for around $50. Seems like a pretty good deal, all things considered.

A really solid, underrated mid-career Willie Mays card from 1963 Fleer.

I pulled this from a pack a few years ago and managed to keep myself from selling it off. Seems like it was a good choice.

Most sacks in a player’s first 11 games of a season, since they became an official stat in 1982:

Reggie White (1987) — 19.0
Myles Garrett (2025) — 18.0
Mark Gastineau (1984) — 17.5

The single-season record is 22.5, and Garrett has six more chances to add to it.

For a brief moment in time, this guy was magic. Electric. Epic. Then it all fell apart. Too many injuries. A tragic death at a young age.

Bernard King might have been an all time great, but injuries definitely limited his career. He's still a HOFer. This 2nd year Topps card is a an elite shot IMO. Love these old hoops cards.

Alexander Williams, the person behind the first Black owned and operated ballpark, was in an unmarked grave for decades in Highwood Cemetery. No more. Thanks to the Josh Gibson Fndtn and donors, he now has a headstone.
