I don’t care if I never become a marathoner or run a 5K - my runs are mostly walking with spurts of running in between. I’m proving to myself every day that I can show up consistently enough to see progress which is like 40% of writing

A month ago, I decided to do like Murakami and run to help my writing. It’s meant a month of aching calves, burning lungs, and feeling utterly drained. Today it rained and it was hard but not as hard as usual!
