🎃 Happy Halloween! This morning, #LCFR & Inova Loudoun Hospital teamed up to spread smiles to kids & their families in the hospital’s pediatric unit! Technical Rescue personnel dressed in costumes & rappelled from the roof, stopping to interact with kids through the windows.

This past weekend, members of the #LCCFRS assisted the Arlington County Fire Dept., U.S. Navy, & DC Fire and EMS for the 50th anniversary of the Marine Corps Marathon. This event spanned from Arlington, VA to Washington, D.C. with over 40,000 runners. 🏅 Congratulations to all the participants!

For many years, we’ve been honored to work alongside the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program. This year, we’re building on that tradition by launching our own local toy drive to reach even more children right here in #Loudoun.

STARTING TODAY! 🎁🧸🌟 We're proud to announce our first “Heroes for the Holidays” Toy Drive in partnership with IAFF Local 3756. Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at any of our fire & rescue stations now through 12/7, as well as fire & rescue headquarters & the Training Academy.

These masks were donated several years ago and are specifically designed to form a tight seal around a pet’s muzzle, allowing us to provide life-saving care to our furry friends during emergencies.

#DYK many of our units carry pet oxygen masks? FS19 (Dulles South) recently responded to a vehicle crash & applied oxygen to a dog that was inside one of the cars & assumed to be injured. @animals.loudoun.gov transported the dog & owner to a local vet, where she is expected to make a full recovery.
