I don't have a solution. Letting people decide on their own seems less problematic to me, but then there's the ongoing cautionary tale of the opioid crisis.

I guess it depends on how legalization is implemented. FDA incompetence and easy corruption doesn’t give me much hope for their oversight. They answer to money. They don't seem to recognize the inconsistencies in the prescription drug schedules and reasons for assigning categories.

There's so much more to this story than soccer.

News is confusing as usual but it seems like the violence has calmed down somewhat for now in Jalisco. Guadalajara anyway.

The bottom line for me is I'll vote my choice in the primary and support the primary winner in the election. I have others I'd prefer to win the primary. One thing for sure, I'm not voting for a maga aka republican.

‘No one deserves this’: Beaverton father dies after deportation to Mexico A Beaverton family is grieving after the father, who was detained and deported by ICE, has now died.

This 53 year old man who lived in my neighborhood w/no criminal record & who had been in the US for 30 years, was detained and thrown into a cold cell for days, caught pneumonia and COVID there and deported.

He finally died.
