Amazing game. Always found the C64 version to be harder than the Amiga version. Even the adversaries seemed smarter during the conquest step, but that's probably just my imagination. 😆

A plastic bag in almost perfect unused condition branded with the Commodore logo.

Here's an odd thing in my collection.

Somehow I've managed to keep an unused Commodore branded plastic bag from when I visited the Commodore Christmas show in 1991 at the WTC in Stockholm.

The only other #C64 related thing I managed to bring back was a copy of Winter Games from some bargain bin.

Ah, the amazing Suncom Icontroller. Really wanted one, back in the day for no real reason other than that the it looked really cool 😍

Some 20 years later I've heard that they weren't really all that good, which honestly sounds quite believable, given that it's a teeny-tiny joystick 🤭

Thanks for the shout out Paul. As a matter of interest, I no longer believe "no one knows anything". Tbh I was using it as a caveat for my talk's "advice" but I do agree that you can mitigate risk and increase chance of success if you DO know some things. I prefer "there are no guarantees" now.

Bought a still sealed second hand copy of the backers edition of Giana Sisters - Twisted dreams the other day.
