Thanks for posting this, and the links. I follow a number of small bands and artists and I know they only just break even (at best) from touring, and it isn't enough to make a living from. Life must be so, so tough for the vast majority of our creative people. You all have my very best wishes.

Had both vaccines in Oct. Unfortunately, still managed to get flu (there are no guarantees) and, boy, is it ever a nasty one this year. I would strongly recommend getting vaccinated if it helps you avoid what I've just been through.

Thank you very much for a brilliant article, which explained things so much better than I have read elsewhere. As you say, there are huge implications now, because the adaptive measures need to start being made now.

And if Govt are solely posting there, presumably they're also monitoring the replies and other content. Explains a lot of the content that Govt spx are putting out. Poisonous feedback loop.

Sword Of The Spirits trilogy by John Christopher, from the school library. A great sf author for YA or children (Tripods etc). Then an awful lot of sf short story collections.

It is wholly wicked, and to a degree that I can't recall seeing before in my lifetime. This is a huge stain, both on Israel and the rest of the world for allowing it. Words are inadequate.

Third one is a historical account of the Haden phenomenon. So, quite different to the first two, but in the Scalzi style.

John Scalzi. Emperox trilogy. Also his Locked In trilogy. Both excellent, light, well written works. And fun.

I seem to recall you visited Huddersfield last year (my hometown). Genuinely curious, what is there trade related in Huddersfield? (apart from the Harold Wilson statue outside the railway station lol)

I agree (b 1966), but the reality is that most of my peers are probably to the right of ghengis khan these days, which seems to prove the old adage about rightward drift with age.

Mr Colville and CPS create a narrative based on "numbers", giving a sense of authority, unless you understand how the stats are derived, as Prof Portes does.
The emphasis on migrants from non-white regions (Africa, South East Asia), makes clear the Powellite nature of the CPS narrative.
Sad.

At the end of the parable Christ exhorts us all to do the same as the Samaritan. To believe otherwise is profoundly un-Christian.
These people are insane (as well as profoundly un-Christian).
