Trump weighs Iran strike as Pentagon officials privately divided over β€˜bunker buster’ bombs Exclusive: The likelihood of a successful US strike on the Iranian nuclear facility buried deep underground at Fordow is a topic of deep contention, defense officials say

BTW: Trump knew ahead of time that the bombs wouldn't destroy the sites. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/j...

Trump wants a deal on nukes. I seem to remember we had one with Iran under Obama. It was called the JCPOA and he, Trump, tore up that agreement in his first term. He owns any nuclear problem the world has with Iran.

He should have listened to his own, the U.S., intelligence agency on the matter rather than listening to Netanyahu.

Watching @cnn.com . They are saying that sources tell them that early U.S. intel assessment suggests strikes on Iran DID NOT destroy nuclear sites and that the strikes set back Iran's nuclear program by only months.

My daughter has Down syndrome. Trump is stealing her future. The true cost of funding cuts at the NIH.

Trump just cancelled a classified House briefing on the Iran strikes with zero explanation.Β
Β
The real reason?Β

He claims he destroyed β€œall nuclear facilities and capability;” his team knows they can’t back up his bluster and BS.

Here's what they're scared we'll ask:Β

🚨NEW: Erez Reuveni, the DOJ lawyer fired for his honesty in the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case, sends Congress a whistleblower letter detailing lawlessness at the DOJ around the CECOT deportations.

He says Emil Bove told the DOJ to respond to likely court orders blocking flights with "fuck you."

Waiting for news outlets and reporters to acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, reporting Trump's social media posts on foreign policy without confirmation is deeply irresponsible and an embarrassing failure of journalism.

It’s not enough for Stephen Miller to orchestrate Trump’s deportation agenda.

Miller recently disclosed over $100K of stock in Palantir, the shady data firm ICE uses to target and round up immigrants.

He’s cashing in on his own cruelty.

Right Move, Wrong Team
The U.S. strikes on Iran might have been necessary, but the manner in which Trump acted should raise alarms about what lies ahead.

The rulers of Iran bet their regime on the β€œTrump always chickens out” trade. They refused diplomacy. They got war. They chose their fate. They deserve everything that has happened to them. Only the world’s most committed America-haters will muster sympathy for the self-destructive decision making of a brutal regime.

This is ridiculous. The only reason America "had" to bomb Iran is because Trump torpedoed the diplomatic strategy of his predecessor. The alleged necessity of the war has been created by the despot currently waging it!

Why does he end his post with "thank you for your attention to this matter"? The American people aren't his employees. In any event, he's in deep now. If Iran does something that draws the U.S. into war, it's on Trump. As Colin Powell once said re Iraq, "you break it, you own it". Trump owns this.

We’re in another Middle East war. I’m reflecting on the fact that it’s easy to start a war, difficult to end it. There’s often war optimism, so it’s unlikely to end with bomb strikes today. Lastly, I’m troubled that Trump’s national security team is who we have running this war.

Record Debt Limit Increase Would Break Republican Precedent

LOL!

"An increase of that magnitude would be a record and underscore the ideological flexibility that many Republicans are willing to embrace when they are in power."
