In May I'm playing a Beatles all dayer in #Walthamstow.

To support the gig, today I've released my version of Octopus's Garden. You can download it for free, or stream it in the usual places.

I've nicked a bit of my favourite Oasis song and incorporated it. They've performed Whatever and done the reverse, so I wanted to add that element as a nostalgic nod to one of the songs that means the most to me.

I hope you enjoy it.

For me it's about embracing the warmth and comfort of the people you deeply care about, taking solace and support from them, and reciprocating for those who need it in return.

I've tried to reinterpret the song to make it anthemic, emotional and a song to throw your arm around a friend to.

I also think crazy has been normalised, so fans will just shrug and carry on as normal.

I'd like Pozzo & co to be held accountable for decisions, but it ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

If the club say "we've got no money because X. That means no signings and you need to be patient."

Fans should question why there's no money sensibly, rather than going gung ho at the club, and each other.

It's a pity Pozzo & co. can't be direct with us.
