this was fun and something entirely new to me but it was kind of a letdown in the horror and murder mystery departments. strong strong look and sound but sometimes it feels a bit toooo much like a bunch of friends hanging out, being understanding and kind to each other

competent nerds with strong aesthetic ideas for their self-presentation who are obsessed with japanese folklore/history in a way that doesnt ring immediate alarm bells. same genre space, different authors feels v apt, yeah

their character sensibilities work so well together
