The murder of Charlie Kirk was criminal, wrong, and should be condemned.

And Charlie Kirk was a horrible, hateful man who spent his life radicalizing young people to embrace their worst demons by targeting women, people of color, immigrants, and the marginalized.

I refuse to sanitize him.

Charlie Kirk, fiery voice in conservative politics, killed at 31 Charlie Kirk, 31, built one of the most influential organizations on the right, turning viral debate moments into fuel for Turning Point’s rapid growth.

This is quite possibly the most sanitized, white-washed hagiography of Charlie Kirk.

You can and should condemn his murder AND accurately describe his life devoted to hate, division and bigotry. It's all there. He didn't hide it.

We all know why.

That doesn’t change that what happened today—in both Utah and Colorado—were tragedies.

It simply underscores that revisionist history isn’t going to solve America's problems.
