If there's anything I love writing & and reading, it's the found family trope.

So you take a widow, give her a mystery & her soul crushing need to find her missing best friend... And then you add in a fae bargain. What do you get?
A book with an incredible kick *ss FMC and a slow burn romance that will leave you swearing at the end of the book. (In a good way)

There's something delicious about writing settings that are equal parts cozy and unsettling. Wouldn't you want to visit a Victorian mansion and enjoy a picnic on the grounds or wait until dusk for a glimpse at wisps?

Okay I'm caught between this and Fae Farm. I wish I could get both but I can't so I've been stuck in decision paralysis 😅

If I had a nickel for every book I read this weekend where someone's fae spouse came back from the dead, I'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot... But seriously? Two separate book series/authors and I just happened to pick up the one's where some faery faked their death 😅

I was feeling down so I went outside to pull weeds and then came back in to make banana bread. Did it fix anything? Not really.
But apparently music and low effort tasks can actually distract the anxious part of your brain.

Our son had a bad breakthrough seizure today. It’s amplified our need for a second vehicle since my husband works far and we don’t have help.
