Best thing I ever did for my mental health as a TTRPG content creator, was ignore the industry for two months. Literally didn’t impact my career and I’m finding a WANT to come back rather than a NEED. Some of y’all still take goblin dice games way too seriously.

Wrote RPG stuff in Viza Write (sp?) on dad's C128.
Later we used a spreadsheet to build cars for Car Wars.

Currently we're playing the modern day horror RPG KUF.

Favorite sci-fi RPG is probably While the World Ends.

Yes, I wrote both of them. I'm very selfish and make games tunes to my own tastes. 😁

Hey, Games Workshop. I think there are enough 90's era fans in need of mental comfort food that you could put out say, a full rerelease of say Warhammer Quest, and make bank. Garage gaming casuals, maybe with kids of their own now, might like that sweet nostalgia goodness. Cozy gaming is a thing.

What's new in the Ripley edition? I have the simplest edition and have played it a bit. Pretty game but a bit too spooky for my tastes. But perhaps I should give it another go some bright summer's day. 😊

Bad games are the best games because they create game designers. If 5e were perfect, there would be only one game. Instead, 5e sucks so there are 10,000 tiny indie games that suck less and that’s beautiful

I miss Google Plus. I'm more than just a roleplayer. But in communities like this I "have to" narrow my focus or be fine with spamming those who follow me. On G+ I had separate circles for RPGs, photographers etc.

Do things posted by people who follow you get prioritized in your stream?

It seems you're like me and came here for the games, and I can't say that I see much about US politics here, mostly just gaming stuff.

I love all other TTRPG genres to some extent, and I love getting to draw so many varieties of games but deep, deep down it's ELF GAMES and it has always been ELF GAMES for me. Wizards and Knights and Castles and Witches and Orcs and Hobbits and Dungeons and Trolls and Magic Carpets and Portcullises.

Back in March 2023 I backed the #Battletech kickstarter, and have been waiting since. But today I got an email from the EU hub to confirm my address, so maybe they'll beat the two year mark.

This will be my entry into the tabletop Battletech hobby. Looking forward to it!

A Taste for Murder is really nice. No illustrations, but it still feels like it's illustrated thanks to the layout.

We have a large turn out for the challenge, so if everyone reaches the finish line we'll have much more than a manageable amount of content on our hands. So I think I'll just offer support or advice to those who wish to take it into print themselves.

Running a challenge for the local #ttrpg community where everyone makes a hack or clone of the game that later became Dragonbane. Loads of fun seeing where people take the idea.

I'm also making a hack, it has dragons and magic in it!

I have a #ttrpg about murder investigations in 1970's Sweden brewing. It should reach the level of completion that we can take it for a spin sometime next year.

Also I have been wanting to run the comics inspired game The Troubleshooters for quite some time, I hope we'll get to play that as well.

One of these days I want to get a copy of the Japanese release of #cyberpunk2020. Even if it's just a pdf version. It looks fanfuckingtastic. #ttrpg #cyberpunk

I think I would have liked the new ones better if they had used practical effects, much of the new stuff felt like videogame cut-scenes to me.

My favorite too! I hoped that the new movies would take inspiration from this one but even with all the new technology available nothing has beat it IMO.

Some day the DM will learn about Auto Brewery Syndrome and get his mind blown. 😊

Management novels. Stuff like The Goal, The Phoenix Project or The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. I can't think of a single game in this genre.
