Didn’t mention this on the podcast dropping soon because I am only just seeing the discourse online now but anyone who thinks Musetti should have kept on playing and potentially risk worse injury has clearly lost touch. What a wild thought to have.

Unreal! I just love watching Sabalenka play tennis. When she decides to dominate a match she just does it. Takes the second set 6-0 because she didn’t get it in the first set 😮‍💨
Jovic will get there. She has time and is incredibly coachable as I have learnt today.

Aryna Sabalenka is just in a different weight class. Wins the first set
Jovic made some great adjustments but it was not enough. I will say this is very much looking like Mama Bear versus baby bear.

This is the stuff I nerd out about. I have worn an Apple Watch since day 1, I wear an Oura ring and have worn the whoop before. If I was in Australia getting to the bottom of this would become my entire job.

This Whoop issue seems to me to be a complete misunderstanding of how it works. Sinner in press says they are allow to where the vest under their shirt so how is wearing a whoop different 🤔

Agreed. It’s the first time I have ever seen a tournament, either at the tour level or grand slam, ask for it to be removed. Looks like Alcaraz is wearing one for the first time, at least that I have noticed. But Sabalenka has been sponsored forever.

So just went back and watched it all and I am pretty sure Alcaraz is wearing a WHOOP for all his matches at AO. They made him take it off yesterday and Sabalenka as well earlier on. What changed? Considering Sabalenka always wears hers as a whoop athlete. What’s the issue?
