Hahaha. Yeah, with a 125 year old house there’s always things to be done…I would just rather them be on our planned to do list and not unexpected surprises.

Fingers crossed, after this round other than the copper pipes themselves, we’ll have replaced everything in the last twoish years.

Yup. But this should hopefully be the last of it, we’re modernizing the last few pieces that we hadn’t already replaced with the ingoing issues or when we got the new boiler a couple years ago.

You know, if we could go a year without boiler issues that would be super great. Getting real tired of not having correctly working heat.

Happy belated new year! December got really chaotic for us between the holidays and everything else going on but we made it through! I’m hoping to try and get in a more regular posting schedule again! So to start here are some more kitty dragon pictures! #artdoll #cat #kitty #dragon #doll #plush

My post from Tumblr which reads: I genuinely wonder if people realize how many projects get abandoned because the readership "wasn't there", when in reality, the readership just stayed silent. It's a big thing in trad pub that book series get discontinued because readers pirate the books or wait until the series is finished to buy a copy, leading the publisher to think that nobody actually wants the book enough to continue the series, but it happens with indie creators too. I've discontinued a lot of free, online series because it's not worth putting 3-5 hours a week into posting a project for no readers. Sometimes I finish the series for me but just never post it again, other times I don't finish it at all because it feels more worthwhile to put my time into other things. Sometimes I hear from readers who are sad or upset that I didn't finish something they were liking, but the *reason* it never got finished is because I didn't know anyone liked it. If you like something, tell the creator, tell your friends, make some noise about it. If you would be sad if a story never finished, make that interest known because one of my biggest considerations before discontinuing a series is "will people miss this? Will I be letting people down" and 9/10 times, I come to the conclusion of "no, it doesn't even seem like anyone's reading this" only to learn after I've moved on that apparently someone was.

One last set for our lovely silver dragon! I really enjoyed designing this head style, a much sharper and kind of angular dragon with shorter horns compared to the other new dragon head we worked on. Another new dragon! This head style is a little more angular than the previous style. We also chose to give this dragon more paw like feet~ They are fully poseable with a ball and socket armature, and feature a scaled felt belly as well as durable canvas wings and a hand painted head\feet.

One last photo set for our lovely fish boy here and then we’ll show another new dragon we’ve made recently. I’m so happy with how these dragons turned out! It was a lot of fun making the new body pattern and adjusting the wing pattern to be a little bit easier to work with.

I’m trying to post more frequently, I’ve been neglecting social media for a while and now we’ve got a huge backlog of art dolls to post! But in the meantime here are a few more pictures of this dragon we’ve been calling ‘fish boy’ since he’s got a kind of watery theme.

I am hoping to do an Etsy update in October with our leftover stock but otherwise if you’re interested in this cutie/others/or custom work feel free to message us!

We’ve been cooking up a lot of fun new creatures! This is the first time showing one of our new dragons in all their glory! They have a ball/socket armature and feature a scaled felt belly as well as durable canvas wings and a hand painted head and feet. The head also has cute long felt ears!

It was a fun process and I’ve been working on a few more heads in this same way! For these noodles I then hand paint the eyes and other little details before we finish it off with its faux fur body!

Here is one of the new kitty noodles from the first batch we debuted at Anime Milwaukee and Evercon! For this little noodle I used Nomad and sculpted a basic cat shape(yay symmetry tool!) then printed it off and finished off the shape/texture with monster clay before molding to cast in resin!

I think we may have adopted a werewolf by mistake…Ms. Friday was very upset by something outside in the snow storm.
