We are excited to introduce a novel MS2 data processing workflow in MS-DIAL that extends the capabilities of metabolomics and lipidomics through ZT Scan DIA 2.0.
Details are now available in our preprint:

Hot take here: one tool that fits all itβs probably gonna do less well than the targeted tools. I wonder how much context filtering they do versus the open world format of GPT.

Pretty cool to be recognized for science that I love!! Thanks to @acs.org and our research group for making this happen
20.08.2025 22:27 β π 9 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Had a great time at Chicago Mass Spec day! Many thanks to the organizers and congrats on the 10 year anniversary!
Also want to highlight our great undergrad intern, Justin Chavez! His first poster at an academic conference went awesome! #teammassspec
Yesterday we had a group of J and A Laskin students on site from Purdue. So fun to catch up and share some industrial analytical chemistry! Big thanks to Nazifa and Jesba for helping to organize! @lablaskin.bsky.social

29.07.2025 11:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Actual ion mobility? One question - For an orbitrap - is a drift filter good or bad? Will it just saturate (overload/space charge) the OT faster?

15.06.2025 14:12 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think it is also fair to say - science is generally a big familyβ what happens to one, is probably felt by all.
That does point to a really interesting experiment though. If one were to break up by funding agency how has posting changed?
