10.10.2025 00:55 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Sure, more of this. More of this from every bit of the opposition. But let's be clear. We've watched him stumble around in the dark for some time now. He is not the leader we need at this moment. We have watched him long enough to know he doesn't have the opposition instincts we need at this time.

One thing that feels different right now is the difference between structural power and rhetorical power.
Usually in the aftermath of major political events (including, especially, shootings), we see contestation over framing β how each party coalition tries to make sense of the event.

Shouldn't this story, and all others like his, be top of the hour news... every hour of every day in America? We need to hear much more about the treatment of the people pulled off the streets and the conditions of these facilities. 3K people detained per day, there should be no shortage of stories.

I've often felt that union families have a lot in common with military families. Too much burden is placed on both groups of families and not spread evenly throughout the population. Feels like it could be a natural alliance. The nation needs to be reminded of their struggles as often as possible.
10.08.2025 22:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The book The 2nd Machine Age covered a similar topic historically. Factories first placed electric pwr in a central location because that's what they knew from hydro power. It took decades to see distributed power on factory floors as the norm. Secession is unthinkable, but this is the kind of thing that triggers it. The reporting says the FBI "has agreed" to help, but on what basis? Apparently a senator's request, which is not a law. So, we're looking at a lawless action by FBI targeting another state entity w/in its plain legal authority

06.08.2025 00:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Throughout the election period, Representative Jung maintained a hardline stance against the opposition. On this day, he also emphasized, 'Is it possible to achieve substantial cooperation with the forces that actually intended to kill President Lee Jae-myung and Jung Cheong-rae, Park Chan-dae, and Kim Min-seok?' and stated, 'Dealing with the internal rebellion should come first before cooperation.' He targeted the People Power Party, saying, 'The internal rebellion party must be dissolved and its roots must be cut off. We are currently in a war against rebellion,' and added, 'I will push forward with judicial, media, and legal reforms like a storm and tackle them with lightning speed.' He said, 'There is no victory without a fight, and there is no stability without victory,' and continued, 'I will handle the fighting, so the president should just focus on work. I will take on the dirty and dangerous work of fighting, and the flowers and fruits of cooperation, integration, and stability will be credited to President Lee Jae-myung.' He defined the People Power Party as an unconstitutional party and mentioned that it is subject to a constitutional court ruling for party dissolution. He also proposed the establishment of a special committee for the eradication of rebellious forces as a tenth innovative pledge. This indicates his intention to continue the offensive against the People Power Party.
