Imagining what it would’ve been like to have had a president who was just as aggressive and urgently determined to protect the constitution and citizens and to crush fascism as the current one is being in order to kill the constitution and the citizens and to promote fascism.

This encourages me.

Authors should have 3 letters ready to go right now:

1. A letter of support to send to teachers and librarians who are fighting for our books
2. A letter to the school/library board condemning book bans/promoting freedom to read
3. A letter to the editor promoting the freedom to read

To paraphrase Julius Goat, their power doesn't make them legitimate.
