Some main findings include:
- online INP concentrations increased with wind speed
- offline INP concentrations did not
- INP activated fraction, morphology, and composition varied with wind speed
- seawater ice nucleation entities were stable over time; atmospheric INPs were driven by wind speed

Wind-driven emission of marine ice-nucleating particles in the Scripps Ocean-Atmosphere Research Simulator (SOARS) Abstract. Sea spray aerosol (SSA) represents one of the most abundant natural aerosol types, contributing significantly to global aerosol mass and aerosol optical depth, as well as to both the magnitu...

Excited to share the latest and greatest SOARS co-authorship!!

If you’re a queer geoscientist (or an ally) I recommend joining the AGQ community. We are going to have some exciting stuff coming down the pipeline this year!πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

If you’re at @agu.org annual meeting today, stop by my poster A31J-1871! It will be up all day and I’ll be here 8:30-11:10 and 11:45-12:20! Looking forward to talking all things sea spray flux!

Excited to be at @agu.org next week!
I have a poster (A31J-1871) Wednesday morning from 8:30-12:20. I hope you stop by to learn about how sea spray aerosol are parameterized in 17 Earth System Models. And how poorly they agree!

I’ll also be a prominent presence for @queeragu.bsky.social!! πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ
