A real grainy picture of the planet Jupiter taken with an iPhone on maximum magnitude and maximum exposure. You can’t make out any details of the planet, but it is very clearly visible as a light grey circle against a blsck background.

The world is awful, but space is cool. Right now Jupiter is pretty close to Earth and almost exactly opposite the Sun, so it’s so bright you can see it with the naked eye or take this picture on your phone.

Read an old book about needlework today that claimed that “all women adore bundles of fabric.”

Not happy about that level of sexism. Also not happy that it’s absolutely true of me.
