Started our 2nd campaign of Mass Effect: Priority Hagalaz tonight. Really fun, light, skirmisher and a definite cut above a lot of videogane tie ins I've played. I just yearn for additional content! #boardgames #masseffect #2player

We've been guilty of this a couple of times, but have no problem people pointing it out, and if necessary will edit or add a disclaimer to the episode. It's one of the reasons we always play things at least 6 times, as a number of times we've only realised we've got something wrong on play 3 or 4.

This month we head back to IP land and assess The Witcher: Old World.

Can Hannah focus enough on it to win when there's so much SIDE CONTENT? Is there Gwent? What expansion features the sex cards? And most importantly is it functional as a 2 player experience?

Has anyone played The Witcher: Old World expansions? Any particular recs? Been enjoying the base game but have house ruled requiring a lvl 3 monster trophy as wasn't a fan of them not really needing to be engaged with. Wonder if any exp fixes the issue?

We did have a fair bit of success with Coraquest - not Legacy but the expansion allows for character progression through the campaign.

Yeah its an absolute banger, captured our 5 year old's imagination for its whole run and got her into meatier fare. Have you played Teenz? We haven't and considering it.

It can seem really intimidating at first, but on your first play through if you focus on learning the iconography and how actions can cascade together, then you'll be away! It's one of our absolute favourites - hope you enjoy.

Great game of Akrotiri tonight, quite the little brain-burny gem this.

I've had so many lucky finds in charity shops, Calico, Ticket to Ride: Europe, King of Tokyo and The Crew - all for less than £5 each time. Once you get one, you feel like you've hit the jackpot, I now can't walk past one without taking a peek, much to my daughter's chagrin.
